Yemeni Ambassador Meets President of the Yemeni-Japanese Parliamentary Friendship League and Commends Its Role in Strengthening Bilateral Relations and Supporting Paths of Cooperation

The Ambassador of Yemen to Japan, Adel bin Ali Al-Sunni, commended the role played by the Yemeni-Japanese Parliamentary Friendship League in strengthening bilateral relations and supporting paths of cooperation between the two countries and the two friendly peoples.

Ambassador Al-Sunaini, during his meeting with the President of the Yemeni-Japanese Parliamentary Friendship League and member of the Japanese Parliament, Nishimi Kosaburo, praised the advanced development witnessed in Yemeni-Japanese relations… affirming Yemen’s keenness to elevate them to the levels of strategic partnership… and pointing to the importance that the Republic of Yemen attaches to parliamentary cooperation.

The meeting witnessed an exchange of views on developments and updates of the situation in Yemen, the region, and the broader area, as well as a review of the efforts exerted by the Yemeni government in implementing reforms and enhancing transparency, which contribute to normalizing the situation, strengthening state institutions, and bolstering their presence… while commending the Japanese government’s commitment and its steadfast support for Yemen politically, developmentally, and humanely.

For his part, the President of the Yemeni-Japanese Parliamentary Friendship League expressed the league’s appreciation for the advanced bilateral relations that unite Yemen and Japan, and the development they are witnessing in various fields… affirming the league’s keenness to continue supporting efforts to strengthen relations and expand areas of bilateral cooperation, in a way that contributes to elevating Yemeni-Japanese relations to broader horizons and achieving the common interests of the two countries and the two friendly peoples.
