Statement on Houthi Terrorist Attack in Shabwa

In continuation of its flagrant terrorist acts on civilian facilities, the Houthi militia committed another terrorist attack using drones that targeted Qena commercial port in Shabwa.
This terrorist attack reflects the true face of aggression these terrorist militias perpetrate in blatant violation of all international appeals for ending the escalation and targeting of Yemen’s infrastructure and economic resources.
These terrorist heinous actions serve the agenda of the rogue Iranian régime and destabilize peace and global security.
The Yemeni government warns that these terrorist attacks would have repercussions on the humanitarian and economic situation in Yemen, and calls on the international community to designate the Houthis as a terrorist organization to prevent such terrorist attacks in the future.
