Welcoming Abdul Latif Al-Jaradi: Ambassador for Yemeni Coffee

We were pleased to welcome and honor the renowned Yemeni coffee connoisseur, Abdul Latif Al-Jaradi, a Yemeni investor in the Yemeni coffee trade. He has an inspiring success story in showcasing Yemeni coffee in a unique, contemporary way, combining the past, present, and modernity to introduce Yemen's civilization and culture.

After we prepared the coffee together and began tasting and sipping the coffee, we embarked on a journey we hoped would never end. The journey took us to the plains and valleys of our beloved homeland, where we had an engaging discussion about coffee, its challenges, hopes, and the history of coffee, as well as its connection to our national identity, our conscience, and our aspirations.

Yemeni coffee is the symbol of Yemen, and we were keen to include it in a comprehensive event within the activities of Expo Osaka, Japan. Abdul Latif Al-Jaradi presented this event during the National Day celebrations at Expo 2025 International Exhibition Center. He showcased the secrets of Yemeni coffee and its story, which began in the mountains of Yemen and accompanied ships from the port of Mocha to the world.

The event included a presentation about the ancient history of Yemeni coffee, its high quality, its global reputation, and its connection to the city of Mocha and the conscience of the Yemeni people. and their culture, making it an integral part of our history and national identity.

Therefore, we affirm that we at the embassy are very keen, as part of our ongoing efforts, to introduce our country, its rich historical and cultural heritage, and its authentic heritage, and to promote and support its agricultural wealth, most notably the promotion of Yemeni coffee, the wonderful symbol of our beloved homeland, connected to our roots.

We are always delighted to receive and honor honorable Yemeni models in all fields who represent Yemen in an honorable manner.

Our appreciation and thanks to Abdullatif Aljaradi, and we affirm our support for all the young men and women of the great nation of Yemen who are keen to present an honorable and wonderful image of Yemen, the land and the people.
